He was sick and tired, when the plane landed. The stewardess announced: “Welcome to Sochi. The temperature of the air is about 25 degrees above zero”. “It is so hot for me. What shall I do?” At the airport he saw many young people. They were in sport suits and with skies. “Oh, where are going to ski? There is no snow and it is too hot” – Snowy asked one sportsman. The sportsman smiled: “Can you see that mountains? They are covered with snow. And you can ski there all year round. Do you want to join us?” - “Yes, of course. Let’s go” - answered Snowy. While the bus was driving, Snowy observed the green trees, grass, beautiful flowers of different colours. Higher in the mountains it was not so hot. On the top of the mountains there was a lot of snow. It was glaring in the sun. «Do you want to ski?” - asked Snowy his new friend. “We are preparing for competitions”. Snowy liked his new friend and he agreed to join him. They were training every day for some months. The competition day came. Snowy was nervous but he said to himself: «I want and I will be the first». He won the first place in the competition. All his new friends congratulated him with victory and invite him to the Olympiad in 2014. Snowy was very pleased but he missed his Mum and Dad very much. He decided to come back home till 2014. “Goodbye, Snowy, see you on the Olympiad!” - exclaimed his new friends.
