All bears are upset that he goes away. But Snowy jumps into water and swims to the hot continent. He swims and swims. A lot of days and weeks. He sees different boats, ships, island and countries. Snowy is very excited but also very tired and hungry, because the sea is too warm and there are not so many fish. But he swims and swims. And one day he finally feels the sand under his feet. “Oh, my favourite Africa! But where are bananas and oranges?” The bear looks around, but there is only the sun and the yellow sand. He can`t see any grass, trees or flowers. Suddenly he notices something green. He runs up to the strange plant and wants to pick it up. “Oh, my paw! It hurts!” Now the bear is unhappy, hungry and thirsty. He doesn`t like Africa any more. Snowy wants to come back home. He misses his family, friends, big tasty fish, clean cold water and snow… He is so sad and lonely. “Mother, dear mother… You were right. My home is there.” Snowy is crying. He closes his eyes and remembers his mummy. He remembers her voice, he can even hear it. Suddenly the bear wakes up and sees that he is at home. Mother is sitting on his bed and kisses him. “Mummy, am I at home?” “Yes, you are, my little sun. Don`t cry. It was a bad dream.” And Snowy smiles happily and falls asleep again…
