big seal. I have always wanted to see a seal, but now it was strange and exciting. I wasn`t afraid, as it is known that seals are harmless sea creatures. It seemed that the big seal asked me to follow it. It was making some strange movements. The seal moved forward and then went back. I could ask for help, but I didn`t tell anybody. I decided to follow the seal all alone. A good torch and a warm jacket were just what I needed at that moment. It was a risky action but I wasn`t scared. After a long way I decided that it was simply the animal`s joke. The seal was playing with me. Suddenly, after we had come round a big snow hill I saw a terrible sight. Two little polar bears were killing a baby-seal, which had got into a trap. I screamed at the top of my voice and the bears vanished from site. The poor baby-seal was in blood. I rushed to it. It took me a couple of minutes to get the baby-seal out of the trap. It was injured badly. I started back to my tent when suddenly I saw a big mother polar bear. It was ready to rush at us. Luckily I knew the bears` habits from my watching them. They were afraid of bright light. I pointed my torch straight into the bear`s eyes. The mother bear stopped and made some steps back. It gave me a minute to run away quickly. In the tent I stopped the seal`s blood and fixed the seal`s wound with a bandage. Next morning the baby-seal looked rather well and I brought it to the place where I had found it in the trap. When I told my friends about my night adventure they didn`t believe me. The days were passing by. I nearly forgot about that case. But one day a miracle happened. In the morning I found a big pile of fresh fish at the door of my tent. Looking at the snow hills around I saw the seal`s tail appeared for a moment in a far distance.
