Snowy is a little polar bear cub. He lives in the northern Arctic with his family. Mummy bear, Daddy bear and Snowy can see ice and snow everywhere every day. They like swimming from ice floe to ice floe and digging holes in snow banks.
One day Snowy says, "I'm tired of this ice and snow. I'm going to live where I can see something quite different."
"But your home is here! Look!
The snowflakes are dancing in the air! They are so beautiful! Listen to the snow! It's humming a very funny song, "scoosh-scoosh, scoosh-scoosh", his mother tells him.

going to another place where there are a lot of green grass and flowers.
I have never seen them. I think they are beautiful and delicious. I don’t want to eat fish. I would like to have some grass”. The little polar bear starts his travelling.
He goes days and nights. On his way he sees a lot of strange animals: penguins, whales, sharks and dolphins. Some of them are kind and friendly to him but some are unfriendly. Snowy meets a lot of birds.
When he comes up to them they are singing beautiful songs. He likes them very much. The little polar bear sees green grass, flowers and trees. He wants to eat them but they are not as delicious as fish.
The sun is shining brightly. The weather is good but not for him. He gets used to cold weather, ice and snow. He is tired and hungry.
Snowy misses his Mummy bear and Daddy bear.
He misses ice and snow which are more beautiful than all these trees and flowers. He sits under the big tree and begins to cry. He doesn’t know what to do. He can not come back because he lost the way. Suddenly he sees a man walking to him.
Snowy’s mother tells him that a man is very clever and friendly to polar bears. Snowy is sure the man will help him to go home to see his mother and father.
Snowy thinks that the best way to live is his home, where he was born.
North or West, Home is best.
